No, he meant repackaging the packages that depend on xlib6g. It's not a big issue either: you just ar x the archive, extract the control.tar.gz, change the control file to depend on xlibs instead of xlib6g, rebuild the control.tar.gz and ar r a new archive (file sequence is relevant).
