Hello,
I'm afraid this bug doesn't come from Xfree only, but
rather from xfree and kde. I've tried to launch
xscreensaver from twm with the command "xscreensaver &
xscreensaver-demo" and the opengl screensavers are..
ok !
Strange... I've upgraded to x-windows-system-core
3.1.0-5, and with Kde 3.1.5, the problem is always
here. I'm downloading Kde 3.2.0 from unstable (yheee
kde 3.2 it's here !) and I'll keep you informed if the
bug was always here. If yes, maybe I can report this
bug to another package maintener, because finally it
doesn't seem to be a bug of xfree...
