This problem shows it's ugly head for example after a pipe in a shell command: "ls | grep someting" becomes "ls |<NBS>grep something", and of course the shell is unable to find <NBS>grep. My own modification is: key <SPCE> { [ space, space ], [ space, nobreakspace ]}; So you can still produce a NBS with altgr+shift+space. -- Andreas Plesner Jacobsen | We're all in this alone. | -- Lily Tomlin --------------------------------------- Received: (at 85588-done) by bugs.debian.org; 1 Mar 2004 20:38:32 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Mar 01 12:38:31 2004 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from zobe.linuxfr.org [212.27.33.220] by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1AxuBL-0000A9-00; Mon, 01 Mar 2004 12:38:31 -0800 Received: by zobe.linuxfr.org (Postfix, from userid 1015) id B4F1FE89E; Mon, 1 Mar 2004 21:38:30 +0100 (CET) Date: Mon, 1 Mar 2004 21:38:30 +0100 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: xlibs: [XKB] danish symbols file has AltGr+space produce a non-breaking space, which is annoying Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline User-Agent: Mutt/1.3.28i From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Denis Barbier) Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_01 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=0.0 required=4.0 tests=none autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_01 X-Spam-Level: Hi, this old bug seems to have gone, the Danish keymap does no more produce a no-break space, so I am closing this bug.
