When upgrading from 4.3.0-0pre1v1 to 4.3.0-0pre1v3 deadkeys stop working under KDE. For example, typing ` a produces "`a" instead of "Ã ". I think this may also be related to the problem that the person on debian-x was having wrt XIM xcin not working. If you downgrade back to 4.3.0-0pre1v1 everything works fine. I do not know if 4.2 is affected as my video card does not work under it (Radeon 9200).
