When I run
dpkg-reconfigure --priority=low xsrever-xfree86
the /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 does not get created correctly.
The Alt Gr key is inactivated, makes it impossible to write
@£{[]}\~| on a swedish keyboard.
I editied the file and commented out the line "XkbVariant" as
shown below and the keys started working.
