Branden, I made more tests and this solution does not work as well as I hoped, so it is not worth adding an extra option. Users may disable XKB if they want, the only problem being that AFAICT this has to be done in XF86Config-4, and unpriviliged users have no luck. A fixed GNU Emacs package should be uploaded soon (will work out of the box without extra option), XEmacs works with altwin:super_win option, and Sawfish users are encouraged to switch to Metacity (maybe this option also works, I do not remember exactly). Could you please s/GNU Emacs/XEmacs/ in FAQ.xhtml in order to reflect this status? My phone line at home is down for the weekend and I won't have any net access. I have no pending changes for XKB at the moment. -- Denis
