Hi Joey, here's my 2c , just a long shot ... did you consider that it could be a hardware problem, e.g. in the videocard ? i heard of thermal defects that can do things like this, e.g. a cracked solderjoint opening/closing a connection depending on temperature if you take your harddisk to another box, then does problem appear at that box ? anything unusual about 30-31 oct ? (all bugs went on strike to protest harassment by debian developers ? :-)
i hope this helps, Siward > 26 Oct>> fail: 5:10 pm; waited until 9:30pm>reboot @12:19 am > 27 Oct>> fail: ~1:10 pm> fixed itself ~1:30 pm > 28 Oct>> fail: 3:02 pm> fixed itself by 3:50 pm >> fail: 7:30 pm>[EMAIL PROTECTED]:26 pm > 29 Oct>> fail: 1:54 pm> fixed itself by 5:57 pm >> fail: 7:14 pm> reboot @8:24 pm >> 30-31 Oct > 1 Nov>> fail: 8:14 pm> immediate reboot >> fail: 9:07 pm> immediate reboot > 2 Nov>> fail: 6 pm> immediate reboot > 3 Nov>> fail: 11:30 am> immediate reboot >> fail: 10:43 pm> uptime: 3:50 immediate reboot
