Sorry for the spam, but i was wondering anyone has a workaround for bug 213286 / 214449 (X apps unable to find even the most basic fonts). It renders my system almost unusable.
Is there anything i can do, even if it's short-term and hacky, to get emacs et al working again? An strace of xterm crashing because of this problem is posted at http://www.schiraldi.org/xterm-strace.txt Thanks
