However, as soon as the xserver is started with startx, which uses the "ati" driver, it switches to analog mode. This of course causes my LCD to lose the signal on the digital connection. Connecting an analog LCD with an analog adapter cable to the graphics card shows the output correctly. The xserver should use the digital output instead of switching to analog mode. Can this be enforced somehow?
