Yes, it is. This implements
- MergedFB mode with Xv and HWCursor
- and a *lot* of tweaks for customized hardware.
SiS never makes the cards, but only the chips. And there is about a
million ways to connect the VGA controller to the video bridge. This
requires a lot of fiddling, not only to identify such hardware (no, they
don't use the PCI subsystem ID - would be far too easy) but also to
implement their idiotic way to setup LCD output which is to be done
differently on about every machine nowadays.
