I only tried the 4.3 debs, not the binary driver from that page. But if its that driver, Knoppix has the same problem (using X 4.3.0), just like, as I read on the debian-knoppix list, Redhat 9 and Mandrake 9.1. Maybe it works for the majority of savage users, though. And there is always the vesa driver... Christian
