yet again you have destroyed the function of xkb during an update, too. In my case, I cannot work out how to get the compose key to work again. Please give some thought to this! X is still very hard for non-US users to configure for full keyboard function and, frankly, it is a real encouragement to give up when all the hard work is undone at every update!
