Just a minor nit, this entry is slightly misleading. The problem isn't
with the fbdevhw layer but only with Option "UseFBDev" of the chipset
specific drivers (because they need facilities of a framebuffer device
which the generic ones can't provide); the fbdev driver works perfectly
with those generic framebuffer devices.
