In that case I suggest trying the "vesa" driver, or upgrading to Debian "testing", which contains XFree86 4.2.1, which contains support for several varities of Trio64 chips. http://www.xfree86.org/4.2.1/Status28.html#28 Alternatively, you can continue to use the xserver-s3 or xserver-svga packages from XFree86 3.3.6 (whichever works better for you), which are still available for the i386 architecture. -- G.
