I understand you submitted some policy recommendation on
handling TrueType fonts in debian. Has there been any decision
about that and is it archived somewhere in the mailing lists?
The current situation has msttcorefonts quite broken with
regard to openoffice.org since the symlinks are no longer
created in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TrueType pointing to the
actual fonts in /usr/share/fonts/truetype. Also, does the
Linux Standard Base have anything to say on this issue?
