I recently had the pleasure of compiling X from CVS.

Here is a list of the patches I did NOT have to delete:

002_xdm-fixes.diff 026_neomagic_dga_fix.diff

005_rgb.txt_in_etc_X11.diff 350_mips_compiler_h.diff
006_XftConfig_in_correct_place.diff 351_newport_range.diff
007_SECURITY_makedepend_safer.diff 900_debian_config.diff
008_doc_extensions_fix.diff 901_Wraphelp.c.diff
009_xf86config_manpage.diff 903_debian_system.twmrc.diff
010_xdm_use_startAttempts_on_SIGTERM.diff 904_debian_xinitrc.diff
012_fix_cyrillic_font_aliases.diff 905_debian_xdm.diff
013_do_not_build_some_specs.diff 906_debian_xfs.diff
016_manpage_link_fixes.diff 907_debian_xterm.diff

024_debug_xform_ia64_build_fix.diff 999_arm_m68k_debug_elfloader.diff
025_dri_directory_mode_fix.diff 999_xtrans_debug.diff

They will be fuzzy. Disable the check.

I had problems with building the SuperProbe manpage. Remove its reference
from the Imakefile (Branden can tell you which one if he keeps IRC logs).

The manifest check will fail. Comment that out too.

If anybody wants I can make the i386 debs available. The source tree is
a mess (I learned the above by trial and error) so I do not plan to
offer it. If nobody is interested in the binaries I will delete them
soon to conserve precious disk space.
