I've just put the 'please-test-me' Xfree debs on my fiances computer. It installs wonderfully! It also fixes the weird-background, and not-working cursor problems that I was having before (causing me to switch to vesa driver)
However, the fonts still come out wrong unless I add Option "noaccel" to the config file. This still appears to be faster that the vesa driver, so it's overall a win. I you want more or clearer information than this, please let me know. Tks, Jeff Bailey
