You can just follow the standard GitLab usage to create a merge request. There's nothing special. For instance, there are documentations from https://docs.gitlab.com/ and you just need to search "merge request" for tutorials. If you find that too tedious, you may just place your updated git repo "somewhere" on the internet and notify me of your added commits. I can manually merge them as long as they are accessible to me.
