everything is OK except that I can't run an x-server. ( XFree 3.3.6 ) Here are the results of a 'xviddetect' command : 11060691 | i386 | via technologies, Inc. | VT82C691 [Apollo PRO] 11068595 | i386 | via technologies, Inc. | VT 82c598 [apollo MVP3 AGP] 10396326 | i386 | Silicon Integated Systems [SiS] | 86C326 I've launched XF86Setup command and tried svga-server but it said that the screen is opened in another terminal or something like that. I've even tried vga-server and agx-server... only a X-blank-screen and nothing. Ctrl+Alt+backspace was the only thing to do. My video card is simply a SiS 6326 ( 3D2D PRO ) in the AGP slot.
