It ought to be noted that: 1) This bug was fixed ages ago. 2) It only concerns building against Xserver 1.20, which has been stuck in unstable for ages. 3) Basically, the version in testing works as expected with the Xserver that is in testing.
Despite this, xf86-video-geode has been slated for removal. I'd really like to know why.
