If you can spare a few minutes, can you please take a look at the recent discussion at https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=98839 ? Notably: - I had a similar problem on my wife's T440p which I fixed by upgrading the touchpad firmware (which wasn't easy as I had to boot into Windows and download a firmware update package for an entirely different laptop model), and now it behaves *much* better with the patch. - Peter would like to investigate and fix the patch so it works for people like you, can you please provide him with the details he needs?
