Now that this has materialized (thanks!), I'm pleased to report that my amd64 build ran without errors (and even passed the manifest test). I haven't yet actually tried the resulting binaries, though. I should also note that I was building in my standard development environment, which is hardly minimal, so I can't speak for the sufficiency of the official build dependencies. I'm glad to see the X.Org packaging coming along so nicely, and appreciate the effort that went into it. -- Aaron M.
