-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Upon reinstalling today and doing no text-mode configuration at all to Xorg, I put 'video=LVDS-1:d" boot option into /etc/default/grub, 'linux-firmware-nonfree' was installed, then 'update-grub' was done. Although it was a bit tricky to guess, where the 'Apply'-button was and to click on it, because it was mostly outside of the visible area of the default 640x480 screen, when changing the Displays-setting to higher resolutions under System-Settings.'Mirror displays' was deselected and 'Laptop' too.
