That's what I have in gdm after boot sequence finished: http://img842.imageshack.us/img842/6307/01gdmchooseuser.jpg I still can click, so I chose my user and enter its password: http://img265.imageshack.us/img265/494/02gdmpasswordentered.jpg After pressing [Enter] key, I got the desktop (it's xfce4), but there's only wallpaper! No icons, no menus, etc.: http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/557/03emptydesktopnoiconsno.jpg I still can click. I know where the logout icon is located, so I clicked blindly.
