Package: xorg Version: 1:7.6+13 --- Please enter the report below this line. --- The same happened to me when I updated to unstable and I needed days to find out why. It all boiled down to the line 'FontPath "unix/:7100"' in xorg.conf. (And unfortunately, I did not find this bug entry until I had found out.) Like the reporter's, my system is quite old (about 14 years). Is this FontPath entry obsolete? If so, would it possible to remove the line when upgrading, or at least to give a hint?
