Package: x11-xserver-utils Version: 7.7~2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I've just upgraded my box from Squeeze to Testing, and find that the screen background is black instead of plaid. According to the man page, 'xsetroot -def' (formerly: 'xsetroot -default') should restore the plaid background. This does not work for me on two machines, one i386 and one amd64, both with testing as of these days, and I've not found any other option to restore the plaid layout. Can you please repair this?
