Package: xserver-xorg-video-intel Version: 2:2.18.0-2 Severity: normal Playing back video on a i830M card shows a blue video the first time and X11 error: BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation) the next times you try it.
This is when using XV, if you try to render with X11 there is no problem at all. I have tested this on both mplayer and vlc, both behave similar. The computer is a Acer TravelMate 260 which used to work ok on squeeze (at least I seem to recall it was on squeeze). The only weird thing at that time was that I had to specify when using the i810 driver was "VideoRam 16384" which doesn't seem to exist anymore. After trying to play video several times one looses the text cursor, which makes it difficult to write this bugreport, as well as some other text artifacts on xterm :-( Don't know what else to add, if you feel I'm missing any info, just let me know.
