Package: x11-xserver-utils Version: 7.5+3 Severity: normal I have exactly same problem, as described by Edward Welbourne in message #5. Also, I did check of dimension and resolution, as proposed by Gene Cash in message #15.
Before screen rotating: % xdpyinfo | grep -i dimen\|res dimensions: 1600x1200 pixels (423x317 millimeters) resolution: 96x96 dots per inch After screen rotating: % xdpyinfo | grep -i dimension\|resolution dimensions: 1200x1600 pixels (423x317 millimeters) resolution: 72x128 dots per inch As you see, screen size was not swapped, which leads to incorrect DPI. Btw, "xrandr --dpi 96 -o left" doesn't work (but it's expected to work, as for me), so I have to use "xrandr -o left; xrandr --dpi 96" instead. Please, fix this!
