Dear Maintainer, FYI, since this bug is a showstopper here (despite somebody having downgraded the severity of this bug report?) I am sorry to report that we were obliged to abandon nouveau and go back to using the proprietary NVIDIA driver. Before abandoning nouveau we upgraded to the 3.1 kernel and made sure we had the most recent driver code, but no joy. Although we would prefer to be using the FOSS nouveau driver, using the NVIDIA driver has completely cured the system; we are seeing no problems whatsoever, nothing in the logs, no flaky behavior. --M -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-x-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
