Hi,
The following was cross-posted on debian-x
For some reason, the /etc/X11/xsession (4.3.0.dfsg.1-10)) stuff isn't running. For example, the ssh agent isn't started.
To test this, I modified the file /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc as follows:
#!/bin/sh # $Xorg: xinitrc.cpp,v 1.3 2000/08/17 19:54:30 cpqbld Exp $
# /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc # # global xinitrc file, used by all X sessions started by xinit (startx)
# invoke global X session script exit . /etc/X11/Xsession
Despite the presence of the EXIT command, X still starts
This happens whether I start X using startx or xinit
How do I run Xsession?
Cheers, jec -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.5 (GNU/Linux)
