if I remember correctly, there used to be a joystick driver for XF86.
Now that I have a touchscreen that is detected as a USB joystick by the 2.6 kernel, I tried to use it with XF86 and couldn't find the driver.
Has it been removed? It isn't listed here:

but it is mentioned here for an older XF86:
http://www.xfree86.org/3.3.6/xinput3.html
Any suggestions on how I can use a joystick input device with XF86?
