I'd suggest asking Peter Hutterer, through an upstream bug report: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/ (xorg, Input/synaptics) He's one of the guys who know a lot about input stuff. Mentioning the bug number/URL here afterwards will let us track the upstream bug report. Thanks already! Mraw, KiBi.
