Dear all, I was wondering if this bug has been fixed. I have upgraded a couple of days ago to xserver-xorg 1:7.6+4 and now I can no longer open up any x based windows such as xterm, emacs23, xmms, etc. What have these programs in common? Oddly enough other application windows open up normally, such as mozilla, gimp, xcalc, xine, etc. Another odd behavior is that gif animation in mozilla now are displayed as blinking still images instead of animations. I am using enlightenment e17 version 0.16.999.063-1 as my desktop manager, but I do not think the problem is e17 as wmaker does not even start when I try to switch desktop manager. Any suggestions would be very appreciated.
