I'm afraid it's not that simple, see https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=30647#c3 . That said, if you can come up with a solution, it'll certainly be considered though. The exa(4) manpage does contain this: Some xorg.conf options are available for debugging performance issues or driver rendering problems.
