could you try dumping a core? http://pkg-xorg.alioth.debian.org/howto/use-gdb.html If you have some git/package building knowledge, you could try merging the upstream master branch in the debian-unstable one in our repository, and give it a try. We have no doc to do so yet, but hopefully that might happen soon. You might want to check what happens with 2.6.38rc* (from experimental). The only rotate-related bug I saw on Driver/Radeon is: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=21128 The only rotate-related commit I see in master (not in 6.14.0) is: kms: fix rotate pitch align Which might not be your bug. Please let us know if you can grab some info from a possible core; once that's done, the probable best course of action is reporting a bug upstream with those info: http://bugs.freedesktop.org product xorg, component Driver/Radeon KiBi.
