Huh, well, they seem to have been un-reverted at some point, somehow. Anyway, I don't remember what I told you in IRC, but it's possible I've since changed my mind. Until recently I thought that this was a bug known to GCC upstream that would be promptly fixed. I was quite clearly dead wrong about *that*. :-P -- G.
