http://blog.ikibiki.org/2011/02/08/DXN-4/ has an explanation. Needless to say, I'm utterly annoyed by the current situation. But the same result would be obtained if drivers wouldn't be built on a given architecture, or not in “Installed” status due to a lag on the build log signing side.
