Package: libgl1-mesa-dri Version: 7.10-3 Severity: important I upgraded my KDE to the experimental 4.6.0 version just to find out that composite effects were not working anymore. So I downgraded the changes just to figure out they were still not working. Further investigation showed that the upgrade to libgl1-mesa-dri caused the problem. Downgrading this one package to 7.7.1-4 fixed the problem immediately.
With 7.10-3 glxgears shows just a black screen while 7.7.1-4 shows the gears as it is supposed to do. I'm not sure about the severity because this bug complely broke my desktop environment leaving me with just a blank screen.
