to be marked as done.

If this is not the case it is now your responsibility to reopen the
Bug report if necessary, and/or fix the problem forthwith.

Package: xbase
Version: 3.2-6.1
The current X places its lock file into /tmp:
$ ls -lda /tmp/.X*
-r--r--r-- 1 root root 11 Jun 21 12:09 /tmp/.X0-lock
drwxrwxrwt 2 root root 1024 Jun 21 12:09 /tmp/.X11-unix
$
According to the Linux Filesystem Structure (FSSTND) lock files should go
into /var/lock .
Note, that I don't where we should place the socket /tmp/.X11-unix/X0 .
However, /tmp is probably not the best place for it.
If someone knows, where to put the socket, please tell me too, since my
mysql package currently places its socket into /tmp, too :-)
Thanks,
Chris

Indeed. In the meanwhile, closing this bug report.
