Package: xdm Version: 4.2.1-12.1 Severity: normal File: /usr/X11R6/bin/xdm each time I do an dist-upgrade, I am asked if I want xdm or gdm as my display manager. I was hoping my selection (xdm) would be remembered and believed. Yes, at least it appears at the top of the query list as default response.
Not only am I asked once, but twice. I presume once by xdm, once by gdm. Therefore please reassign this bug to whatever greater mechanism that is causing this. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux jidanni.org 2.4.22-1-k7 #5 Sat Oct 4 14:11:12 EST 2003 i686 Locale: LANG=zh_TW.Big5, LC_CTYPE=zh_TW.Big5 Versions of packages xdm depends on: ii cpp-3.2 1:3.2.3-8 The GNU C preprocessor ii debconf 1.3.15 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.3.2-8 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libpam0g 0.76-14 Pluggable Authentication Modules l ii libxaw7 4.2.1-12.1 X Athena widget set library ii xbase-clients 4.2.1-12.1 miscellaneous X clients ii xlibs 4.2.1-12.1 X Window System client libraries -- debconf information: * shared/default-x-display-manager: xdm xdm/stop_running_server_with_children: false xdm/daemon_name: /usr/bin/X11/xdm -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
