actually i suspect it was the previous update of the x-server that
caused the issue to first come up
Julien Cristau may already be aware of this but it was suggested by the
folks over at xorg that i tell you guys about the bug i think i've
found.

According to this link the offending commit was the one adding the
patch: fedora-pci-primary.diff
This patch has later been removed while preparing version 1.6.99.903-1
so if the informations are correct this should be fixed.
If however I'm wrong, please reopen the bug.
