Package: xserver-xorg-video-radeon Version: 1:6.13.1-2 Severity: normal (This is related to #565344 that was closed because of too many issues inside a single report.)
I sometimes get nothing but a mouse cursor and a black screen when I resume the machine from suspend to disk. This happens quite rarely, but when it does it is pretty annoying. Workaround: blindly unlock gnome-screensaver, and run the following command in a terminal : xgamma -gamma 1.0 hardware: Thinkpad X32 (Radeon Mobility M6 LY) KMS disabled (as hibernation is broken on my hardware with KMS enabled) linux-image-2.6.32-5-686 2.6.32-23 window manager: xmonad gnome-screensaver is running Related bug reports for other distros: - http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=314903 - https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=90971 -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages xserver-xorg-video-radeon depends on: ii libc6 2.11.2-6 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libdrm-radeon1 2.4.21-1~squeeze3 Userspace interface to radeon-spec ii libdrm2 2.4.21-1~squeeze3 Userspace interface to kernel DRM ii libpciaccess0 0.12.0-1 Generic PCI access library for X ii libpixman-1-0 0.16.4-1 pixel-manipulation library for X a ii libudev0 160-1 libudev shared library ii xserver-xorg-core [xor 2:1.7.7-7 Xorg X server - core server xserver-xorg-video-radeon recommends no packages.
