Hi, I'm not subscribed, so you may cc me in replies. Just happened to browse through the mailing list archives looking for a solution to this problem.

I'm having the same problem; appeared after the last upgrade. Using /dev/gpmdata in Xfree86 configuration stopped working, the mouse cursor just stays there right after startup; reverting back to using /dev/psaux instead of the gpm repeater results in mouse hanging randomly. Sometimes it goes on for days and... anyway, exactly the same symptoms you have. One thing triggers it for me reproducably: pressing the caps lock key seems to always lock up the mouse. I'm running kernel 2.4.13 if anyone's interested. -- Jarkko Kovala +358 40 5358638 [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.iki.fi/~jarkko.kovala/ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
