Hi all. All (or at least, many) of the packages in the pre3v2-series fail to install on my SID system. They all fail with errors like this: --------- Preparing to replace xserver-xfree86 4.1.0-2pre3v1 (using .../xserver-xfree86_4.1.0-2pre3v2_i386.deb) ... Unpacking replacement xserver-xfree86 ... /var/lib/dpkg/info/xserver-xfree86.postrm: 70: Syntax error: Bad for loop variable dpkg: warning - old post-removal script returned error exit status 2 dpkg - trying script from the new package instead ... /var/lib/dpkg/tmp.ci/postrm: 70: Syntax error: Bad for loop variable dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/xserver-xfree86_4.1.0-2pre3v2_i386.deb (--unpack): subprocess new post-removal script returned error exit status 2 /var/lib/dpkg/tmp.ci/postrm: 70: Syntax error: Bad for loop variable dpkg: error while cleaning up: subprocess post-removal script returned error exit status 2 --------- I am able to install non-X packages, and I have used the X packages from Brandens repository for some time with few problems.
