When running update-menus: error reading /usr/lib/menu/xbase-clients I tried update-menus -v -d >menu.dbg But nothing obvious to me... It fails to add any items after xditview. Maybe.. update-menus cannot handle menu files so large? xbase-clients has by far the largest I've seen, but I haven't checked the source to see if it has a limit.
