I'm running Branden's experimental X4.0.3, just upgraded today to
4.0.3.0pre1v2 with wmaker 0.64.0-5.
After upgrading all of X from Branden's repo and today's Sid updates,
including libssl0.9.6 0.9.6a-1, I can no longer startx...
/var/log/XFree86.0.log shows nothing unusual, however
$HOME/.xsession-errors contains one line:
gbsadler@xxx:~$ cat .xsession-errors
OpenSSL version mismatch. Built against 90600f, you have 90601f
So what/where/how is libssl even coming into X4 and wmaker?
My .xsession does nothing unusual:
xrdb -load $HOME/.Xdefaults
exec x-terminal-emulator
exec x-window-manager
gbsadler@home-desktop:~/cvs/kdebase$ update-alternatives --display
x-window-manager
x-window-manager - status is auto.
link currently points to /usr/X11R6/bin/wmaker
/usr/X11R6/bin/wmaker - priority 50
slave x-window-manager.1.gz: /usr/X11R6/man/man1/wmaker.1x.gz
Current `best' version is /usr/X11R6/bin/wmaker.
