Geforce 2 Ultra

Hi,

I have a Creative Anihilator 2 Ultra, with a P3 700 / asus p3v4x.

I was trying to install debian 2.2 r2 from the original distribution in this machine,

everything runs ok, but XFree 3.3.6 doesn't support my video card (Geforce 2).

I tried selecting NVIDIA GeFORCE 256 and DDR but they didn't work, and

when I try to start X my console gets corrupted too, and the only way to fix

is ctrl+alt+del.

I downloaded the debian's xfree 4.0.2 (at xfree86's site they said that this version

is the only that support my card) deb packages, but it's saying that I need libc6 >=

2.1.97, and the version I have is 2.1.3, and that I will need libfreetype6.

I only found libc 2.2.x in debian downloads.

What could be the best solution for me? What I need to download for use the new

XFree with 2.2 r2 ? I can re-install debian 2.2 without problem.
