what about localisation of app-default, I see XEarth ships with
# ls /etc/X11/*/app-defaults/XEarth
/etc/X11/ja_JP.eucJP/app-defaults/XEarth
/etc/X11/ko_KR.eucKR/app-defaults/XEarth
I would prefer /etc/X11/app-defaults/<locale>/<Class> as man is doing.
