Hi, I just noticed some of my browser favorites pointing to Debian News (http://www.debian.org/News/...) are now dead. I seems all news before maybe 2022 have disappeared, while there were not so long ago (a few months maybe?) archives going back to 1997. URLs like https://www.debian.org/News/yyyy/ are all dead before 2022. That's a lot of information either lost or more difficult to find. It's rather surprising, as Debian's web site is almost as stable as the distribution itself. And the information, even though old (2021 is not that old), was invaluable to have a glance at Debian's History. Moreover, a lot of links from Debian Wiki, pointing to the news, are now dead. For instance, I was looking at https://wiki.debian.org/DebianEtch, and all links to "press release" (that are now dead. Moreover, the weekly index https://www.debian.org/News/weekly/ now has dead links too: everything before 2022. I have a question about this: was it done on purpose? If so, I didn't find a reference to an announcement, though I didn't search much. Or is it a problem with the site? Is it going to be fixed eventually? I'm not sure it's the right place to ask, but I didn't really know where to ask. Best regards, Jean-Claude Arbaut
