What I did notice is that the filelist, even when it works, is sometimes inaccurate. For example https://packages.debian.org/sid/all/parallel/filelist does not list the files that are actually installed by the sid package. This is the output of `dpkg -L parallel' on sid: http://paste.debian.net/985832/ I don't know how the filelist thing works, but here is a wild guess of what could be wrong. The script that generates the file lists stopped working some time ago. File lists that were already existing at that time are still shown, but never updated (the case of parallel). For new packages (farbfeld), the file lists are not generated at all. Paride
